BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 dates, venue and prize pool
The LAN Finals are the Main Event LAN of BLAST Summer 2026 and form part of the Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 calendar. The tournament takes place between 30 July and 2 August. The BLAST Arena Studios in Attard, Malta, will be hosting all the matches of this professional CS2 event. The 8 teams remaining in the BLAST Bounty Malta finals will compete for a prize pool worth $740,000.
How the BLAST Bounty format works
The BLAST Bounty LAN Finals follow a typical single-elimination format, where matches are played to the best of 3 games. The Grand Finals, however, are decided in a best-of-5 series.
Teams are re-seeded between rounds based on the opponent they beat in the previous round. Lower-seeded teams then get to choose their opponents from the higher-seeded teams. As a result, it’s important to monitor the bracket throughout the tournament to see the latest matchups when picking your bets.
The BLAST Bounty tournament uses a unique bounty format, where each team is assigned a bounty based on their seeding. For example, Team Spirit has a bounty of $70,000 in the quarterfinal as the highest-ranked team. When a team wins a match, they are awarded 50% of their opponent’s bounty, while the remaining 50% is added to their own bounty. This incentivises teams to pick tougher opponents for the biggest potential rewards, and results in a higher chance for surprise results, as seen in the online qualifier.
